What to Bring
- Your insurance card and member ID
- A valid photo ID
- Any referral documentation if required by your plan
- A list of current medications if applicable
One thing you won't need to bring: paperwork. Your intake forms are sent to your phone or email before your appointment. You can complete everything from home at your own pace — check-in takes seconds when you arrive.
If you have X-rays from a previous provider and would like Dr. Chitkara to review them, we're happy to accept records transfers ahead of your visit.

You'll Feel the Difference Right Away
There's no front-desk clipboard waiting for you. Your forms are already done. When you walk in, you'll find a beverage bar — coffee, water, whatever you'd like — and a reception area with counter seating at floor-to-ceiling windows and comfortable lounge seating. It doesn't feel like a waiting room because it wasn't designed to be one.
If you're nervous about your visit, let us know when you book or when you arrive. Dr. Chitkara asks every new patient about their history with dental care, including anything that's made past visits difficult. That conversation happens before anything else.

Your Treatment Room
When you're brought back, you'll find a space designed around your comfort. Weighted blanket, warm neck wrap, and a pillow are there if you want them. Overhead TV with Netflix, wireless headphones, personalized music, aromatherapy, and warm scented towels.
Take a moment to get settled. There's no rush.
If you have sensory sensitivities, anxiety, or anything that affects how you experience dental appointments, tell us before we begin. We'll adjust. Every step of your appointment happens when you're ready and stops when you need it to.

What Dr. Chitkara Will Do, and How He'll Explain It
Your first visit includes a comprehensive exam: X-rays, oral cancer screening, a full clinical evaluation, and a conversation about your dental health history and goals.
As Dr. Chitkara works through your exam, he'll show you what he's finding: on screen, in plain language, as he goes. Not a summary at the end. Not a list handed to you on the way out. A real explanation of what's there, what it means, and what your options are.
If your situation calls for more than a routine follow-up, Dr. Chitkara will schedule a separate, no-charge consultation. This is time set aside specifically to review your case together, look

You'll Leave Knowing Where You Stand
Before your appointment ends, Dr. Chitkara will make sure every question is answered. You'll know what he found, what it means for your health, and what — if anything — comes next. If treatment is recommended, you'll understand why, what it involves, and what happens if you wait.
No loose ends. No confusion about next steps. No leaving with a list you don't understand.

We Go at Your Pace, Every Time
If the idea of a dental appointment brings up real anxiety, you're not alone, and you won't be made to feel like you need to push through it.
Dr. Chitkara has worked with patients across the full range of dental anxiety and sensory sensitivity. His approach is consistent regardless of where you fall on that spectrum: he asks about your history, acknowledges that dental visits aren't easy for everyone, and makes one thing clear before anything begins. Nothing happens until you're ready, and we stop the moment you need to.
If you'd like to talk through your concerns before booking, give us a call. We're happy to answer questions and help you figure out if we're the right fit before you ever come in.
